The problem

Three subscriptions, three windows.

You pay for Claude, for ChatGPT, for Gemini. Each is good at something different, and each lives in its own window.

  • A question moves from one tool to the next by copy and paste, and the context is lost on the way.
  • Nobody tells you which model fits which task: you guess, or you always pick the same one.
  • The month's quota goes on a model too powerful for a plain question, and it runs out on the day the task is hard.
  • When a tool reviews its own work, it agrees with itself.

Why we built it

We wrote it for ourselves first.

At Yolea, in Abidjan, we work with these three tools every day. Our founder, Thierry Memel, did the sorting by hand: this one for writing code, that one for research, a third for review. The gesture came back again and again.

We wrote the program that does that sorting for him, and asks before it acts. It runs on your computer, with your accounts. We publish it because anyone who pays for several AI subscriptions has the same problem.

How it works

Three paths, one route.

You describe the task. Smart Route picks the tool for each step, the paths meet, and you receive a single, reviewed answer.

Each tool lights up while it works.

  1. You describe

    A question, a search, a change to some code. In French or in English.

  2. Smart Route proposes

    It classifies the task, then shows its plan: which tool, which model, how much effort, in words rather than numbers.

  3. You approve

    Nothing starts before you agree. You can change a tool or stop.

  4. It runs and reviews

    The tools run on your computer. For code, a second tool, from another publisher, reviews the work of the first.

Your accounts, your computer

Nothing goes through Yolea.

Smart Route is a program installed on your machine. It runs the tools on your computer, with your sign-ins.

  • No Yolea account to create, no key to hand over.
  • Your requests, your results and your history stay on your computer.
  • What each tool receives is handled by its publisher, under your terms with them, as if you had started it yourself.
  • This site sets no cookie and calls no third-party service.

The download is free. Each file is published with its SHA-256 fingerprint, so you can check that it did not change on the way.

    Install on Linux
    1. AppImage: make the file executable, then run it.
    chmod +x Smart-Route-*.AppImage && ./Smart-Route-*.AppImage
    1. .deb package (Debian, Ubuntu):
    sudo apt install ./smart-route_*.deb

    If the AppImage does not open on Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, install libfuse2 (package libfuse2t64 on Ubuntu 24.04).

    Windows

      Install on Windows
      1. Open the downloaded .exe file.
      2. Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, because the program is not signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
      3. Follow the installer, then open Smart Route from the Start menu.

      macOS

        Which chip? Apple menu, then About This Mac. “Chip Apple M…”: Apple Silicon. “Processor Intel…”: Intel.

        Install on macOS
        1. Open the .dmg file and drag Smart Route into Applications.
        2. The first time you open it, macOS refuses, because the program is not signed yet. Close the message.
        3. On macOS 15 or newer: System Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll down to Smart Route, then Open Anyway.
        4. On macOS 14 or older: right-click Smart Route, then Open.

        To check a file: on Linux, sha256sum file; on macOS, shasum -a 256 file; on Windows, Get-FileHash file in PowerShell. The result must be identical to the fingerprint shown above.

        Web version

        In your browser, from your computer.

        Smart Route can also open in a browser. That version is served by the program itself, on your computer: there is no hosted version on our side.

        1. In Smart Route, open the settings and turn on “Browser access”. The program shows an 8-character code, valid for 5 minutes.
        2. In your browser, open this address: http://127.0.0.1:47821
        3. Enter the code.

        The address answers only on your computer, and only while the program is open. If port 47821 is taken, Smart Route uses 47822, 47823 or 47824: the exact address is shown in its settings. From the browser, tasks are read-only: they change no file.

        What people ask us.

        Is it free?

        Downloading and using Smart Route is free. Smart Route adds no subscription: it uses the ones you already have, and each publisher still sets its own price.

        Which accounts do I need?

        At least one of these tools, signed in on your computer: Claude Code (a Claude account), Codex (a ChatGPT account), Antigravity (a Google account). Smart Route works with the ones that are signed in, and tells you which are missing.

        Is my data sent to Yolea?

        No. Your requests, your results and your history stay on your computer. Only the tools you chose receive them, each under its own terms.

        Which systems are supported?

        Linux (AppImage and .deb package), Windows (.exe installer, 64-bit) and macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel).

        Why is the program not signed?

        Signing a program for Windows and for macOS takes a paid certificate, renewed every year, which we do not have yet. Without it, Windows and macOS show a warning the first time you open it: the steps to open it are described above. The published SHA-256 fingerprints let you check the file.
